Can anyone recommend a training provider for CAT and buried services. My organisations are in the Hertfordshire region. Thanks for any ideas.

I have always found the manufacturers and their suppliers the best around as they are fully aware of the limitations and updates to equipment. Alternatlvely for larger jobs the specialist contractors are the best choice. Even after training many operatives are at best just OK at using the equipment.

Cable Detection

Hi Andrew, I work for Cable Detection a manufacturer of this equipment, we would recommend using the manufacturer for the training, however we have a number of dealers around the country that have been trained to deliver our courses as well. I think it depends if you are looking for a general overview course on cable avoidance or if you want it to also cover the applications you use the equipment for in your business, if its the latter I would definitely recommend using a manufacturer for the training. We provide a fully comprehensive training course for our cable location products, EZiCAT & EZiTEX (CAT & Genny) if you are using these please take a look at our website - www.cabledetection.co.uk/training - our trainers have extensive knowledge in our equipment and would be able to provide a comprehensive cable avoidance course on our products or make sure the course includes information on your applications as well. If you would like to discuss it further or you are after more advice please don't hesitate to contact our training manager Simon Pedley (Mobile: +44 7765 282108) who can provide more detailed advice on what kind of training would be best suited to you and your business.
