I've just seen this in the news, it casts my mind back to the Chile accident. Yet people still mock the H&S industry in this country. http://www.theguardian.c...trapped-rescue-operation

I think you're right...however I do tend towards Zimmys opinion that this forum alone doesn't help the view of the industry.. Mining in SA have on average 120 deaths per year from 'legal' workers...the illegal workers figure is thought to be significantly higher...
