What in particular are you planning to audit? An all round overview of the fleet management or a particular aspect of this? What do you want to achieve as a result of the audit? If you could be a little more explicit people on the forum may be able to help.

Kind regards

Rachael

Thanks Rachael,
I'm looking to audit our whole fleet to ensure full compliance and provide scores to the board on a quarterly basis.

Again Gary, please give some more info as having been involved in Bus Operations and H&S in Transport, what is often considered to be a simple process actually grows rapidly and out of control very quickly.

Don't forget you have a huge HS&E consideration.

Without obviously giving the business a free advertising opportunity, what size of business is it?, How big is the fleet? How many operating, engineering and administrative staff (not forgetting the service supervision staff)?, How many sites? Are they green field/open sites or fully enclosed garages? Are Pits involved ? I think you see where I'm going and I haven't even touched the COSHH aspect of the fuel and associated additives!

It's a do-able project but please pre-plan and get everyone on board, right across the business. It will be easier.

Unfortunately I haven't anything I can forward as a template (business confidentiality etc) but happy to try and provide advice if you get tied down with it.
