Anyone had experience of this? I'm talking Dell and we thought it was one dodgy laptop being put into a docking station and then another but now happened in a completely separately area. Electrics checked by competent persons and all ok they say plus power everywhere else on the floor. Dell are investigating.

Your problem may hark back to a 2006 product recall. Dell had over 4 million batteries to recall - likely some slipped through that. See: http://www.dell.com/supp...-Support/product-recalls
