Hello

I’m looking at doing my NVQ level 5 in occupational health and safety, just wondering if anyone has good recommendations of companies that provide the NVQ.

After reading a few forums I have heard a few people complain about Assessors being hard to contact during the process, I would like to try and avoid this situation.

I used SHE-Knows Health and Safety (Hull). Very good NVQ workbooks; good support and my assessor was brilliant (he was based in the South West)

SVT (Sheilds Vocational Training) in Grimsby have been great from my experience, and look to be offering a really good deal at the minute. £900 + VAT for the Level 5 is the best price i've seen anywhere

I used ATC Risk training which uses an e-learning system. Very easy to use with excellent tuition, advice and communications with my assessor and IV.

Thoroughly recommend and a good price too.

Good luck

I used the above to complete mine, very helpful, had feedback every step of the way, After submitting, each Unit was assessed and pass or no pass given in days.

As I'm sure your ware be prepared to push yourself along, and do not be afraid of referencing past reflective accounts. Some questions are very smiliar i found.

I've just started mine with She-knows. Only positive things to report so far.
