Hello all, just really wanted to ask the question as I don't really have anyone to ask or to refer my thoughts regarding this issue. I've been working (as part of a many faced role) mainly in construction and tool hire related industry. I have achieved technician membership of IOSH, have training and experience related to delivery of mobile access tower training, scaffold inspection, small tool and plant hire, portable appliance testing and more recently asbestos surveying. Its a proper mish-mash of qualification/experience and although I consider myself flexible, can't seem to think of an avenue (other than my current employment) where think my CV/experience would be 'sought'. I really feel as if I'm fumbling around in the dark and can't find a way forward. Sorry if I sound like a drama queen! Thanks for any advice.

Have a chat with some of the better known staff agencies in the area of work you would like to move onto and they will likely give you some reasonable feedback and also advise on how to put your CV together to register with them. It's good to have a variety of experience because often in solving issues we need a toolbox of tools to solve it, particularly in H&S.
Regards.
