Would it be possible for a new forum to be established as a sub-set of discussions where certain frequently asked topics, that have concluded, could be placed for quicker reference by users.

I know that there is a search facility available to look for previous discussions - but sometimes this returns several pages of discussion points.

This could be known as the FAQ page and then have a alphabetical index of topics that raise their head frequently. e.g. RIDDOR, e-cigarettes, DCM, FFI. Users could then check out all the previous discussions on that topic and then only if they do not see their specific query answer would they start a new discussion topic.

I understand that someone (from IOSH / moderating team) may have to undertake the "copy-and-paste" task on a monthly basis - but that should not be too onerous.
