Hello all, I'm looking through l117 for information and I'm struggling on a couple of things I hope someone can help me with.
1. Are tele-handlers classed as rough terrain Rider Operated Lift Trucks or do they have a totally different classification of equipment?
2. I observed a needle type instrument at the end of the telescopic boom on a model on a recent visit, I assume it is a safety limit indicator, can anyone confirm this (albeit a poor description on my behalf)
3. Has anyone heard of a tele-handler manufacturer with a name starting MARTA.... and model no 2852... as the photo hasn't cropped sensibly after down sizing for email
Any help at all will be thankfully received.

1. The Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler Truck is used outside due to its stability on rougher terrain than the Industrial Telescopic Handler Truck can manage safely. Operators of the Rough Terrain Telehandler are required to hold a certificate of training which shows they have attended a training course and passed a test to a set national standard
2. Which end of the boom. I would have thought that a safe limit indicator would be located in the cab so the operator could see it.
3. May be Manitou (French), Merlo (italian) or Mustang (USA) are the only ones I am aware of.
