Has anyone else noticed that the worse offenders for not wearing safety footwear on site is roofers & lead workers. The amount I catch each time I visit a site is a joke no matter how many times they are told. They think they are above any law and keep saying "I cant work on a roof with safety shoes/boots on" ummmm I think you can and you will otherwise you will not be paid and asked to leave site!

Rob There may be some practical issues with wearing normal boots, especially on pitched roofs where dexterity is an integral aspect of the work. I am aware that safety training shoes/boots are available and these may be preferred by operatives.
