Several years ago our school had a wireless Fire Alarm installed.A year later we had an additional fire exit installed in a classroom, however we did not put a call point by it as the travel distance to the nearest callpoint from the classroom did not exceed 45 metres [Nebosh FR and Management study book] I am now being told we should have one, however i cant see anything in the RRFSO,any advice appreciated. Thanks

Hamm, told by whom and with what authority? The persons who completed your fire risk assessment should be best placed to make the judgement on whether what you are being told needs actioning or can be ignored. It is "your" assessment based on your judgement as to what is needed.
