Just out of curiosity has anyone adjusted their drugs and alcohol policy to include the fact that legal highs are now widespread, most policies will contain the words illegal drugs but as we all know the use of so called legal highs are becoming more apparent, comments please

In out policy we state legal/illegal substances and medications as even legal drug could cause problems with drowsiness etc and with some of the machinery its not a good mix

As above - D&A policy should include medication i.e. Prescribed drugs, their use and misuse. Many medicines contain products which can impair a person's performance. The principle is that a person should arrive for work in a fit condition.
