Does anyone know that with new office buildings we have to allow for the provision of a shower for staff to use if cycling to work??

Showers are usually provided for BREEAM points.

this is where the H&S person [not a CDMC] needs to be in at the conception stage for areas related to real H&S needs as otherwise, as already noted, all that will be done is the gathering of the BREEAM points or similar such things and nothing else also note that the need for showers under real H&S areas are different to showers under 'political' or other such areas and they costs lots of money to install and maintain

whilst the gov [and many businesses] goes on and on about being healthy and reducing traffic they will not put any money or instruction in place to help the cause
