My company have been looking into getting lone worker devices and have now identified a device they wish to buy. Since recently joining I have gone back a step and am looking to review the whole lone worker process particularly around risk assessment and controls.
Firstly, have any of you got a good risk assessment tool you would be willing to share or do you know of any good tools you could point me in the direction of please?
Secondly, do any of you use lone worker devices and if so have you any good tips/ideas for implementation as I don't want devices being issued without the correct processes, training etc. being put in place first. My previous experience with these devices has been that they get left in desk draws and never used and I don't want that to be the case if we assess that they are required for any of our community workers.
Thanks

Attended IOSH meeting recently (Essex Branch) on lone working by Nicole Vazquez off Worthwhile Training, suggest that you give them a call as it was an excellent presentation and gave me a good deal to think about for our lone working risk assessment and our policy, also advice on current products.
