Apologies if this has been discussed - I have done a quick search but did not spot the answer.
We have a CDM notifiable project commencing in mid May - does anyone know when the new F10 will be available on-line?
In the past I've completed the form (as CDMC) - am I right in assuming that since the new CDM regs will be in place by then, I should be using a new F10 without the CDMC being named?
What are other doing?

It is the Client’s responsibility under the new regulations to give notification so I am guessing you will only be able to sign the F10 as the Client. After 6th April we will only advised clients but they will have to do the notifications.
However if you are already appointed as the CDM-C and put your notification in before 6th April 15, notification under the 2007 regulations is deemed notification under 2015.

Thanks Alfasev,
Tried to notify using current e-F10 this morning - provided details of client + designer + principal contractor, but system would not accept new notification without naming a CDMC for a project without the need for a CDMC !! (mid May)

You already have a live project and according to HSE it should be notified asap not when it is due to start on site. Notify under the 2007 regs as they are still in force. This has been a long standing belief that you only notify the project when you have a construction start date finally fixed.
I see no real change under the new regs about this matter. As soon has a client has put the design process into play the an F10 is required. Dates and names can be revised later

re Alfasev's response, notification will be a client duty but L153 says the client can ask someone else to do it for them.

I would still get the Client to sign it rather than me signing it on their behalf. This is after bitter experience of a client accessing me of fraud for filling in a F10. Duties should be carried out by those who have the duty. May make a client focus on what they are doing and or should be doing!

Currently it is still a CDMC duty as one should have been appointed. We are still under the 2007 regs
