We have been approached by a company in the Middle East to prepare some very basic courses: Technical English for Railway Industry Railway Engineering (Alignment, tracks, bridge, etc.) Railway Operations (rolling stock, locomotive, track etc.) Rail Operating Rules & Regulations Railway Systems Intro to Train Handling Railway Control & Basic Signalling Rail Project Management Heavy Haul Railway Infrastructure Does anyone have any contacts - as these are 2 or 3 day courses providing general information to Young Professional Engineers (Graduates) here in Middle East - they are not certificated. Would appreciate anything from anyone. Thanks Warren

Warren A big and varied shopping list. Not sure what your knowledge is of railways but some of the topics are dependant on the type of rolling stock and infrastructure. I suggest in the first instance to contact the Institution of Mechanical Engineers who provide training programmes for some of skills on your list. http://www.imeche.org/le...elopment/courses/railway Ray

I hope these are just introduction courses? Even then it looks like a big ask from your client.
