Hi All

I am revamping the current warehouse and transport manual handling risk assessments for my Org . I am wondering what risk assessment matrix you guys found best for this type of activity . This is a fast paced environment which requires picking from racking , inputting into trucks and then customer deliveries. if you have any working samples as reference , highlighting pros and cons, I would much appreciate it.

I have looked at MAC tool and don't think its a practical system for this type of environment. I know the HSE are designing Vmac but sadly it hasn't been approved as of yet.

Thank you for your help

Anthony

Hi,

I use the MAC Tool for all the MH and the ART tool to assess the picking for RSI I found they both worked well.

Agree with Ian & Cres, use Mac as a filter and conduct a more detailed assessment based on findings.
