Hi all
I did my NEBOSH Construction Certificate back in 2001 and I have been out of the construction side of safety for a few years however looking at a potential new job role which requires some construction knowledge.
Does anyone know of any worth while conversion or update courses covering construction, CDM etc I can just update myself from the HSE Website but a course would be beneficial, I was considering re-doing the NEBOSH (if you can).

There have been a lot of changes to the Construction Industry in that amount of time.
Yes you could resist just the CC1 section. But you may wish to contact NEBOSH yourself and see what they recommend. CITB has courses as well.

If you already have the NCC i wouldn't sit it again. Either look at specific day course in CDM, maybe through British Safety Council or EEF.
Some great offers for the CITB SMSTS come through (site managers) for £250/300. I would try this one first.

As Reilly21943 said above:
Iwouldnt re do the course, as you already have a qualification that deems you capable of the requirements etc.
Probs do a SMSTS course that covers all the basics a Site Manager would require to know to run a site, that'll refresh and highlight the areas you thought you had forgot!
