Hi Guy's, I've just been scanning through the CoSHH regs and I simply cannot see where it states that a specific face fit test must be carried out for close fitting RPE use. Am I going blind or has this requiement been removed from the latest revision? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

It's never been in the regs - it's in the ACoP.

It’s not actually in the regs but reg 8 of COSHH states, ” Every employer who provides any control measure, … shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that it is properly used …” . Which means that you need something like face fit-testing to make sure that your staff are wearing their masks correctly.

There is also a requirement that PPE "is capable of fitting the wearer correctly, if necessary, after adjustments within the range for which it is designed" in Reg 4 (3)(c) of the PPE Regs.
