Place I've started, is quite small. The Warehouse is broken into 3 Areas, all do separate things. There is around 50 Risk Assessments. As long as the Risk Assessments are updated to ensure every risk and precauction is being taken, in regards to raising awareness of the Risks to the Workforce. Do they need to read each of the risk assessments, or would breaking down the Main risks for each area, and controls be enough??? Example, one area, might have 10 risk assessments, each one will mention the same PPE requireemnts....So can I have one risk assessment for the AREA???

There is no need for operatives to read each and every RA. All they really need to know are the controls which have been identified in the RAs to avoid an injury. How you do this is up to you. The RAs can be transposed into work procedures, briefing, TBT, or some sort of job specific training, dependant on the complexity of the tasks and the severity of the risks.

The primary function of Risk Assessment is an enabling management tool, NOT a method of communicating safe systems of work to the employee. The employer's general duty is to provide suitable and sufficient supervision, information, instruction and training. This doesn't usually translate to "here you go, read this". R/As should be accessible. It's sensible to involve employees in the process. But they don't have to be "issued"

We have a lot of risk assessments and we don't expect our operatives to read everyone of them, that isn't realistic. We do carry out periodic training highlighting the controls needed and the supervisors of the work should be aware of the required controls to ensure that they can properly supervise the work. We do ask out operatives to sign for the risk assessments to acknowledge that they are aware they exist and where to find them as well as acknowledging that they are aware of the required controls. I would keep the assessments you have, even if they repeat the same control, and then work on how you communicate this to the workforce.
