As the Company I work at, has quite a few 'Sales Staff', and others who work from Home. Organising Tool Box Talks with them will be problematic. I was wondering, has anyone used any software, which they can send the Content for a TBT, then send some questions to test their understanding??? It would be too time consuming to go through each persons Questions, so prefereably some software which would calculate the scores etc

Thanks

Why don't you look at procuring some e-learning - these usually have a range of basic courses which would suit and will provide testing and a score and excellent reports. If you google search you will find many, we are now using CLC but Safety Media is one off the top of my head.
Hope this helps

there was some fantastic options at the recent EXPO that did all this for you and with a great UI, However I doubt they will be cheap

I've just had a meeting with an e-learning provider...their content and courses are very good, and would work well within the Company, so that is a plus.....I've been asked by Management if it is really necessary to have monthly TBT for Sales Staff.....I would say it would be...wold you agree?

I would challenge the need for a monthly TBT - what would you be covering? In such a high pressured world (The pressure for sales in immense) my experience is people will resent the TBT and you would lose any positive relationship. Think carefully about the need, risk and what you would achieve. It may be better to have on line training and then asking managers to raise specific issues at meetings, using staff comms such as newsletters for messages perhaps.

Remember to target the message, audience, frequency etc to make it effective.

Hopeful has it right - is there any real need for such frequent H&S messages for these people who may not be exposed to significant risk (other than road risks)?

you right about challenging the need...current policy stated all staff required monthly tbt, but spoke with management this morning, and we are going to narrow that down, as there really is no need
