Not a bad joke - well not intended anyway. After quick opinions on the number of advisers you'd expect; the bare bones of the details are Firm covers FM & Security - about 1500 employees on either discipline 50 mil turnover Scattered across the UK Multiple large scale industrial sites - manufacturing / waste management etc No safety trained or competent general managers. Not 1 with so much as IOSH managing safely Comments greatly appreciated

See it from their point of view. Why should they bother, the chances of getting caught are near to non existent. They save money and thus undercut their competitors that try to do the job legally.

Ok does not sound good, but do they have everything in place they should and are they working safely ? There is nothing that states you need a specific qualification within the company. Have they been given external advice and are doing what is necessary ?

they should have competent advice as per MHSW. However Walker hits the nail on the head
