Our company has purchased some Sigmadeck folding access platforms, they are being inspected by a competent supervisor every week on site which are being recorded but are there any other checks we need to carry out? should the decks be inspected in the same way that a harness needs to be inspected & certified?

I would have thought that your weekly inspections should cover the condition of the decks.

If the inspections are being carried out on a weekly basis any issues with the decks will be identified and the deck can be taken out of use. I just have a small lingering doubt that we should be conducting another check

I'd assume this wouldn't be as in depth as a 6 or 12 monthly thorough inspection would it?
