Is there anyone out there that can suggest a suitable course for College Principals, VP's, Governors regarding Health and Safety, Governance etc. I have got the IOSH Leading Safely course details, but anyone aware of a bespoke course specifically targeting the Further Education Sector?

I presume that you have tried contacting the Association of Colleges?

My understanding is that Stephen Green is their Health & Safety Contact

Some of the local authorities, particularly London boroughs provide workshops and training courses aimed at all levels within the school. These tend to be individual topics rather than management overview though, e.g. managing asbestos.

The IOSH courses are quite useful though because the FE sector establishments are very much seen as a commercial enterprise these days. Many will tender their services to local authorities for things like crowd stewarding, safety audits etc. They have public facing segments for catering studies, hair dressing and evening classes for adults.

Additional considerations for the education sector are safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults plus SEN provision. Those subjects are quite specialist and worthy of standalone training. Once you've stripped that out you are left with the H&S risks you would find in any similar sized organisation.
