where will i find definition of how i code an incident as a lost time? person off for 1 day after a first aid injury - self certified not at doctors discretion

As its your reporting system- its up to you. We class them as full day(s) after the day of the injury.

LTI is generally agreed to be loss of any full day except the day of the injury itself, this is how RIDDOR defines the counting for over 3 and over 7 lost days reporting.

Depends who you're counting it for. Some American companies won't count it unless it's diagnosed by a physician.
