I wonder if anyone can help?
I have a number of mobile work stands for use in a hangar environment when carrying out maintenance. Some of these stands have metal airlines and pressure gauges installed for use of air tools etc, however these are not directly connected to the compressor, which is located in close proximity and link to via a rubber airline, when air is required. Are the pipelines / pressure gauges on the stand subject to the written scheme of examination, or not?
I think yes, but have been advised, technically no, because the vessel is not part of the stand??

From our description I would say no. You have a rubber line going to the pressure vessel. The lines and gauges themselves have very little stored energy (unless it is a truly vast installation). Therefore I would not expect them to require a WSE.
