Hi All, My crane operatives were trained on a 20 ton crane which is stated on their certificates as capacity 20,000 kg does this mean that this is the max amount they can lift because we have now had a 34 ton crane installed and I am weary of them using it. Any hep would be amazing and thanks in advance. Kind regards Ash

It would depend on training and what exactly the operator will be doing. From what you describe it sounds like familiarization training. If it was a CPCS or NPORS course I would not expect a weight description on the machine.
