Dear HSE professionals I am currently requiring information relating to Chrysotile Asbestos. I am currently working on a hydro project, the project is at the tunnelling stages, the method they are using is drill & blast. The PC for the project carryout regular rock sample monitoring on doing this they have identified serpentine which contains 1% Chrysotile Asbestos. We are all aware of the control measures for Asbestos, the information which I am seeking is the air quality control measures which should be in place for 1% Chrysotile Asbestos. Any help would very much appreciated

Wayne I suggest this is a matter for an expert as I believe the scenario you have provided is outside most h&s practitioners' scope. I have a contact who is highly regarded in his field, I would be happy to share his contact details with you if you PM me with your contact details.
