I'm seriously considering the OHSAS 18001 lead auditor training but wondering if its best to wait for the equivalent for ISO 45001. I believe the new standard is set to be released in October, but does anyone know if there's an estimated timescale for the revised auditor training?

Is it likely that the first tranche of training released will be conversion courses?

Thanks in advance

From my understanding ISO45001 is due to be implemented late 2016 (if things go to plan then Oct, as you indicate is the time). I have not heard of any estimated timescales as yet other than closer the time there will be transitional courses available purely for the standard.

Some Lead Auditor courses are now including / referencing ISO45001 in their material / course content. No specific courses advertised as yet for 45001.
