Morning all,

Can I please ask, how do you all keep on top of legislation updates? At present I use HSE website, but is there any other resource that I could look at?

Thanks

You could ask your insurers? Some offer a service of legislation update

Try Barbour - they do free legislation updates.

With Barbour do you not need to register i.e. pay more money?

Hi Lawlee,

I know you mentioned using the HSE website - are you also signed up to mailing lists? They're here:

http://www.hse.gov.uk/news/subscribe/

I've paid for Barbour, IHS and other information services before (Barbour was very good) but since moving job in 2014 decided to cancel all subs. I've not been caught out unaware of a single thing yet well enough in advance to contribute to consultations, etc.

The free stuff Barbour send out is good - you just need to register at:

http://www.barbour-ehs.com/register/

I'd also recommend this forum :)

Yes I do subscribe to HSE, and get their emails.

Super will register and see what I can find on Barbour, I was chatting to them, but the cost was far too high for the MD.

IOSH is a great resource, esp this forum.

Thanks
