Hi All,

This is my first time to use the discussion forum and this question may have been asked before. I have a requirement to procure H&S Software for my organisation. I work in the financial services sector and there are 10,000 plus employees.

Can anyone recommend software?

Thanks

Colm

Hi,

Not sure what your needs are exactly, but if you have a need to document safety audits and site safety inspections you may want to consider an app called iAuditor. Its availie via the app store and also the android one to I think.

It works well via an iPad. Its an excellent piece of software (is an app classed as software???) :-)

Hi Colmby

I have spent a significant amount of time looking into H&S Software and it very much depends on what you're after.

If you are looking for something that is 'off-the-shelf' software that doesn't need much changing, and you are ok with Cloud based software, I would definitely recommend Rivo.
Speak to Lewis at Lewis.Stokes@rivosoftware.com

If you are looking for something that is more customisable to fit with your company procedures, forms etc which you can host on your own servers I would recommend:
ARK Workplace Risk - Quooda
Speak to David Sinclair DSinclair@arkworkplacerisk.com

These are the best I have found on my hunt!

Hi,

Try SHE Assure, very good for recoding accidents/incident/near miss etc

Also good for auditing & recording behavioural safety

Completely agree. iAuditor has been extremely helpful with safety inspections/site audits. So simple to use with very professional looking results.

As you suspect this has been raised more than once so it is worth a forum search.
Having tested the market my advice would be to have a very clear list of what you must have, what you would like to have and would wish to have and also an idea of how it would be used. We have Effective software and it is OK, we are organised in a way which causes some issues but it was very cost effective as we wanted everyone in the organisation to be able to use the system and this can be expensive on licences.

My advice would be to first identify your requirements and expectations...

As you would have seen there are many options but I would recommend all day is www.eoasystems.co.uk. You can either buy off the shelf packages or develop one to meet your organisations requirements...

EOA Systems will give you free access to have a feel of the software...

Lots of choice, may simply come down to cost, as someone has already mentioned, licencing can be quite costly...

Regards

Mark...

One consideration you may need to think about when using free software or eevn purchesed ones is the ownership, access and storage rights. Where will the information be stored and how will the software organisation use it. We freely give permissions to lots of our information without a second thought and then wonder why we are bombarded with offers and product information.
