Hi All
Can anybody tell me what is involved in IOSH-Site Safety Audits in the UK?
I am working in a company in Ireland and it seems to be a UK regulation.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I believe you posted yesterday but had it removed by a moderator.

Anyway just to clear up a few points for you, IOSH is just a professional organisation and nothing to do with legislation or regulation.
Site safety Audits. There is no UK regulation that requires monthly site audits on construction sites.

Your Client may require it for their own internal management procedures though.

Yes, my wording wasn't ideal yesterday.
I think you have hit the nail on the head regarding client requirements.
IOSH has been mentioned a lot to me about this.
Maybe it needs to be done by someone registered with IOSH??

Hi.
No-one registers with IOSH, there are different grades of membership so just to specify that they want someone who`s a member of IOSH to conduct the audit doesnt seem right as this would be no guarantee of competency.
Do you have the Client requirements on paper. If you can give the exact wording of their requirements we may have a better chance of providing assistance.

Have you/they got IOSH mixed up with ISO? As in an ISO audit through BSI?

Isn't this more likely to refer to workplace inspections to be carried out by the sub-contractor competent person(s). The level of detail of this will depend upon the type of work environment and tasks being undertaken.
