Hi,
I'm just looking for a little help in understanding how to dispose of some blank cartridges. No, not toner or ink cartridges, .44" blank cartridges.
One of my guys has found a couple of old boxes of these cartridges which I believe were for use with an HV cable spiking gun, long since gone. They were found in with a load of other stuff and are now securely locked away in a safe.
Whilst we are trying to identify the supplier etc. to see if they can assist I was wondering, does anyone know the process to dispose of these "blanks". Tinterweb either wants to sell me new toner cartridges or only wants to tell me about disposal of "shooting bullets" type cartidges,
Thanks,

Contact your local police force and they will arrange to collect them and dispose of them correctly. Had this last year with 60 .22 rounds found in a lock. Police collected and disposed of them.

Agree with Martin.
I did the same with a load of decomposing 12 gauge cartridges when clearing my father's house.

I fished out a bag of hastily-discarded bullets from a canal in Hackney, London a couple of years ago. The charity I was working with took them to the police.
