Morning I started off by adding things like site visits and inspections, delivery of any training or toolbox talk sessions, things like that. Also if you develop any training presentations to be used within the business. The first part is a section to add your work history (and a bit about your role) and what your goals and ambitions are within health and safety (i.e. where you see yourself in the future). There should be a help section to assist with what to write for that bit. Feel free to DM me if you need any further assistance. Jon

Reply I got from IOSH support when asked about CPD and development plan: With regard to your development plan, you go back into the one on the system and change the end date only to either 3, 6 month or 1 year from the last end date. Keep any old notes in there but update your job role and any new aims and objectives going forward. You will not be able to add any more credits, 3 is the maximum. So you are now aiming for at least a minimum of 6 individual detailed activities per year, which works out to be an activity every other month. You can always add more if you want. To add a new activity you need to click onto Add new activity which is in section A right hand side and enter the following in the boxes below . Title - the name of the activity . Status - started, finished or planned . Start date - the day you stared that activity . Finish date - the day you finished When adding or updating an activity the key is to reflect on the individual activity (in the notes box) and tell us the following; . What the activity was . Why you did it . What you learnt/gained from it . How you will use the knowledge/skills gained going forward . Then allocate 1, 2 or all 3 credits to B, C or D and save it. Please note that if you are called for a CPD audit we look at the reflected statement not the number of credits. The maximum credits you can allocate to an activity are 3. However if you have completed a large project/course etc then this can be broken down and recorded as separate activities. I.e. modules, section or event elements. Then just follow the 5 simple steps to CPD 1. Put between 30 and 45 minutes in your diary, every 3 or 6 months 2. Log in to your MYIOSH record at www.iosh.co.uk and click on the link to the new micro site 3. Update your development plan for the next 3 or 6 months 4. Create some new activities to match your plan 5. Reflect on the activities you planned last time and how they met your development objectives-then repeat the whole process every 3 or 6 months. With regard to training the best way forward is to have a go and then ring us if you need further guidance and we can guide you through step by step 0116 2573198 or book onto one of the webinars - please click onto the link to find dates and times http://www.iosh.co.uk/en/MyIOSH/MyCPD.aspx
