I would be so grateful for any insight that you may have on facilities and safety management in Europe and Asia. It can be from retail, logistics or manufacturing point of view? What obstacles did you face s how can we overcome them? Many thanks

Anise With no responses thus far I suspect it is because your question is too broad and vague. If you narrow it down a bit perhaps someone will provide some feedback. Ray

Agree with Ray - don't forget we have branches in Asia, why not ask them and find some local knowledge. Europe - well, we have a connection there at the moment but better be quick!

Anise I lead a project a few years back which was to identify and implement best practice across an organisation globally....there are lots of points including the legislative background and enforcement in the countries along with the cultural differences (for example we were told there is no such thing as road rage in china..having seen it I generally agree (I'm sure someone here will have an example to contradict). The philosophy that I employed was to try and break our thinking into 3 areas - the rules, the skill and how the personality (organisational/personal) would be applied to the rule and skill. Don't know if it is much help but maybe a wee bit of food for thought...
