Hi Looking for information on hazards of fibreglass dust, I've been asked to provide instructions/controls for drilling holes into a large amount of printed circuit boards. You here different stories around this product some say safe to work with but could be an irritant to eyes and throat, others say it the next asbestos!!! As anyone out there done any further research on this product or if you drill it what controls have you got in place?? Thanks for any advice Neil

Is it Polyester or epoxy? Generally I'd recommend local extraction and if possible a dust cup on the drill (or better still, if you re doing lost the same, a jig in a cnc drill with inbuilt extraction..... It is irritating to skin, so long gloves nd possible disposable suit, depending on the environment There is Coshh essentials sheet on trimming GRP, is there not? I'm sure I referred to it in our GRP risk assessment All straight forward COSHH controls stuff
