As someone new moving into the sphere of consultancy I was wondering what is normally expected as the level of cover to have in place. The prospective client is asking for cover of £5m . Although procurement rules change between organisations I understood cover of £2m was typical.

The work does not involve asbestos or construction.

Is anyone prepared to share experience or give some pointers?
