CPR is written in to UK law. Buyers in the UK and EU use the reassurance provided by these Harmonised standards when specifying goods. Is your suggestion all this is suddenly abandoned?

A lot of my role is involved with helping identify & implement such regulations - the fact we have voted to leave means an even bigger headache keeping up to date with what we will keep and what we may end up replacing.

And remember these Harmonised standards are an EU benefit as they replaced the individual country by country (and in Germany state by state) measures of performance that existed before - the hint is in the title BS and EN indicating a single document for UK and EU.
