I wanted to say how great it is that there is an influx of new users to this site. 9 of the topics on page 1 have been started by new users. It's good to have new blood, new ideas and views Happy posting

Welcome to newbe's; new blood is great especially where people are appropriately trained and competent & need some support in areas that they are new too However I am coming across many many many people [i know of 120 cases in one business area alone] who are being given H&S roles without any appropriate training nor competence etc. even though there are 100's of appropriate people out there who are part of our profession but are unemployed best of luck to all; both newbe's and those in the profession who are unemployed

Welcome newbs - happy positing! I might even be considered new myself, I've been away for so long (the joys of being busy) have fun posting and learning all about the politics of H&S ;) I've learnt ALOT from these forums over the years - even if it has been as result of uncomfortable responses to a seemingly innocent question.... Most of us are just trying to help - ignore the rest!
