Hi does any one know the minimum gap that should be between caravans on gypsy / travellers sites?
Also does anyone have a risk assessment for a site that they could share with me?

We used the caravan club guidance of between 5 and 6 meters between caravans (depending on construction) when I worked at outdoor events.

It would depend on if it was an illegal or legal site. I suppose on a legal site you will set the concrete bays at 6 metres. If it is illegal then they themselves will decide.

Can I ask 'why are U asking the question?'
Remember that there are private and business areas e.g. formal caravan sites that rent out/have owned caravans and work via official licences and council rules etc. and private areas where all caravans are personally owned, no letting takes place nor formal facilities are provided managed etc. by 'others' e.g. many farms [and others e.g. fruit pickers even construction] have caravans & similar on their properties where councils etc. are not involved

And Google luck!
I noted (another) load of police, complete with video surveillance van, at the local mobile-homes-in-transit site the other day. Maybe someone else was trying to see what the distance between them was?
