Everyone's favourite topic.... We have an employee (chef) who suffered a small burn to her right forearm. She attended hospital, where it was dressed, and then redressed every day for four consecutive days. She had 2 doctors notes, saying that the heat and atmosphere in the kitchen made it too painful to work and she was off for 14 days. I think she could have carried out her normal duties, certainly after the 4 days but probably earlier than that, as does her manager. However, she was signed off with a doctors note. Should this be RIDDOR reportable? thanks

Yes reportable, what you or the manager thinks is not important the Dr is the one who makes the decision.
