Hello All,
I am looking for some advice please. Following on from a successful interview for an auditor position, I have been put through to a second stage interview and have been asked to do the following:
''prepare a presentation on one of the key quality factors involved in taking a business from compliant to 'beyond compliance',''
That is all the information I have been given, with no examples to point me in the right direction.
My first thought is that by ''factors'', they are referring to the 7 principles of quality management (customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence based decision making, relationship management) but I am not sure. Maybe I am over thinking it and the factors could be anything that encourages continuous improvement, meaning it could be one of many things rather than restricted to the 7 principles.
So, based on the information I have given, do you think I should be focusing on one of the 7 principles or should I be looking past them?
Would it be a bad move to go back to my potential employer and ask for further clarity? It might not look good but at least I would be sure that my presentation is on the correct subject.
Thanks.

If an auditors assess the system to be compliant then you will be looking at Opportunities for Improvement and Continuous Improvement.
Also a system can be compliant overall but areas may have minor non-conformance that if left unresolved could lead to major non-conformance and being non-compliant, so as an auditor you would be looking at corrections and corrective actions and that already mentioned above.
