Hello, Our company is in the process of implementing a health and wellbeing program. We already do quite a bit but we want to make this more formal and we are also looking at what else we can do. Does anyone else have a health and wellbeing program, any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Katie

Katie To specify your objectives clearly and then measure validly how well they are being achieved, read: 'HR Analytics', by Martin & Kristine Endways, Kogan Page, 2016. By gathering and using information along the lines they explain you can show managers and employees how expenditure on 'health and wellbeing' as your company invests in it, benefits your company financially

If you need practical way to think of a host of options, this offers a well-written approach to health and well-being: "Changing for Good. A revolutionary six-stage program for overcoming bad habits and moving your life positively.", J O Prochaska, J C Norcross and C C DiClemente, Quill. 1994. If you test this six-stage framework for change, you may well find that groups of people in your company are at very different stages of change, requiring different guidance for getting to the 'Action' and "Maintenance" stages. The framework has been tested in a host of settings now, well beyond health and well-being. A copy of the book is available at Amazon.co.uk for 0.01p
