Hi Natalie, I work for a licenced asbestos contractor so i may be able to help but i'm afraid i don't understand your question. Are you the scaffolder or are you the client? Also, is the scaffold being used as part of asbestos removal works (eg for access)? If so then the scaffolder will need to hold an ancillary asbestos licence.

Hi Natalie, The ACOP supporting the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 has detailed methodology on a Plan of Work (paragraph's 181-185 on page 47). http://www.hse.gov.uk/pUbns/priced/l143.pdf A plan of work can also be delivered via suitable and sufficient method statement should you wish. It is worth noting that if the development involves demolition or a major refurbishment then the Plan of Work must specify that all asbestos is to be removed prior to the start of works. Hope this helps. Damian
