Hi
I am in need of some advice regarding our gas fed ovens.
We service them internally on a annual basis, isolate the gas then disconnect the burner, repair the burner and reconnect the gas and switches it back on.
This is done by our technicians who are mechanics and electrical biased. Should this be done by a gas safe contractor?
It says on HSE website it must be done by a competent person but how do i know if they are competent? Thanks
