As part of a contract, we have been asked to supply cctv around a site as a deterrent to trespassers but also to record traffic movements and potential accidents.
Our subcontractors are planning to fit some of the cameras to permanent scaffolding, close to major roads and pedestrians. I want to check regulations/best practice for fitting - heights and distance back from highways, pedestrians etc. Can anyone tell me where to look?

Dear Big Brother, people are now typically scanned 300 times a day in London - what's one more camera.
