Hi
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm trying to work out the best way of managing a Group-wide legal register across all of our operating units. These cover UK but also overseas, most EU, Russia, South and North America, UAE etc etc.
I know that there are plenty of subscription-based providers who cover the applicable UK legislation, and some (eg Barbour) cover some international. However, is there anyone/anything that can be recommended rather than developing our own internal spreadsheet/database?
(FYI - why do this? A combination of wanting to meet relevant duty of care requirements but also as part of our various ISO certificates)
Any thoughts or comments would be gratefully received

Wow that’s a big ask! You are talking about 40 –odd countries plus local (state/provincial variations) plus the fact in some countries there might not be single set of H&S laws but it might come under Labour laws or industry specific laws. If you throw in civil liabilities, and administrative measures you will be talking about a very comprehensive document. If you have this created especially for you it will be expensive. (There will be consultancies willing to do the work, if you pay them enough.) The number of man hours it will involve is significant.
