Can anybody shed any light on how to become a trainer for the above or what does the course entail. I hace been in contact with Pearsonvue who told me to get in touch with CITB. Which i did and as they are as useless as a trap door in a canoe. They told me to get inb touch with Pearsonvue.

bigpub, You should try the NSAN website - they are the National Skills Academy for Nuclear and administer the triple bar (BNIB = Basic Nuclear Industry Behaviours, BNIC = Basic Nuclear Industry Context, BCIS = Basic Common Induction Standard) training for existing sites as well as new build. You should proabably allow a half a day for each module including tea breaks and assessments.
Remember the triple bar is general information that applies to all nuclear sites - you will still need to train in your own sites specifics
If you google "NSAN triple bar" it should give you enough pointers. If you are going to train it yourself, you will need to prove to NSAN that you deliver to the standards they require, in addition to any site specific information you want the delegates to know (specific alarm sounds and actions, emergency phone numbers, procedures for getting through reception etc...). They will probably send someone to watch you do training and give you feedback, prior to authorising you to train their materials.
The other alternative, probably slightly easier is to ask the delegates to learn online prior to arrivel, provide a printed certificate and then spend half a day on your own sites specifics...
