Dear all IOSH Safety Partitioners,

Did anyone know about the technique in using the Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) in accident investigation?

For my understanding, it is commonly used in Australia.  What are the pros and cons in using this method when compare with the traditional hazard based investigation method?  Did anyone know any source in getting more information in this aspect ? It's rarely find in web (other than training courses promotion). Please enlighten me or correct me if I am wrong. Many thanks.

Regards,
