Is anybody experienced in purchasing the device to measure noise level at work. My company used one before however they hired it..now i d like to buy one and looking for recommendations. Our facfory area is above 85db however need to conduct the noise surveys.

We use the Cirrus CR:161C which is an excellent bit of kit.

Bureau Veritas provide software called NEMS which is also very good and compatible with this noise monitor. It makes it very easy to download data, create reports, charts, diary logs etc etc. 

That's what I'd recommend.

I recommend refering to the noise regs........There are many brands out there now but you need to ensure that it is a class 2 or class 1 meter. I would agree with co-op in that the cirrus is a great piece of equipment but this obviously comes at a high cost. Regards
