Rubber granules, synthetic pitches, risks concluded

EHCA has published its final report into the health risks associated with synthetic pitches and has come to the conclusion: "that there is at most a very low level of concern from exposure to recycled rubber granules" via "skin contact, ingestion and inhalation of substances evaporating from the granules, as well as dust formed by the granules themselves". Acknowledging the risk is not zero, nothing ever is, but that the risk is acceptable in the current regulatory framework.
